- Kevin MI just got back from eating here and I'm immediately reviewing it. It was that good. The owners and family members prepared and served the food. They were kind and helpful... busy but slowed down enough to explain everything. The food... the brisket was right out of the smoker and was some of the best I've had. The sausage was excellent. The greens were soft and delicious; chopped and excellently stewed. There was a sense of community here too. We watched on as some folks celebrated a birthday party and prayed for each other. It was one of the more pleasant lunches I can remember. I can't wait to eat here again.
- G BI really like their brisket and pork ribs. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. I've tried other foods from their menu including their seasonal gumbo, (shown in picture) and I have not been disappointed. As an added bonus, the restaurant is spacious and open to rental for special occasions and hosting events. I do recommend Fowler's Smoking Soul Food to friends.
- Deb PIf you haven't been to Fowler's Smokin Soul Food yet you're missing out on some amazing eats. Delicious food in a friendly, clean and spacious restaurant. Open Fri/Sat/Sunday. On 5811 Manor between Wheless and Rogge, plenty of parking in their lot. Today we both got the combo plates with tender and moist Brisket, meaty Ribs and juicy beef sausage. Menu varies slightly from Friday to Sunday and it's posted in advance on their website. Check them out.
